✔️ How does Corangi Tablet work?
It works by reducing the workload of the heart. As a result, the heart muscle does not need as much blood and oxygen supply. This reduces the frequency and severity of angina attacks.

- Corangi Tablet works by opening potassium channels present in the muscle cells within the blood vessels' walls relaxing these muscle cells and widening blood vessels.
- Corangi Tablet reduces the heart's workload by making it easier for the heart to pump blood around the body and does not require much oxygen.
- Corangi Tablet helps to prevent angina by increasing oxygen and blood supply to the heart muscle by widening coronary arteries within the heart.
- Corangi is given to adults who cannot tolerate other heart medicines such as calcium antagonists or beta-blockers.

Nicorandil is used in the treatment of Angina (heart-related chest pain).
✔️ Overdosage:
- In case of accidental overdose, seek immediate medical attention. Symptoms may include weakness, dizziness, or rapid heartbeat.
✔️ Adults:
- Usual Therapeutic Range: 10 to 20 mg twice daily.
- Starting Dose: 10 mg twice daily (morning and evening). This dose can be increased based on patient needs, response, and tolerance, up to a maximum of 40 mg twice daily.
- Lower Starting Dose: 5 mg twice daily may be considered for patients particularly prone to headaches.

- There are no special dosage requirements for elderly patients.
- The lowest effective dose should be used, and it should be administered with care, starting with lower dosages.

- Nicorandil is not recommended for use in children and adolescents under 18 years of age.
